STUDIO NEWS: works on show on ENVY group exhibition at Nel, Cape Town

I am in the envious position of having these two works on show at Nel in Cape Town for their group exhibition Envy. 

Once regarded as one of the worst of all human emotions, the green-eyed monster of the seven deadly sins fame is having its cultural moment with its omnipotent and flagrant display on social media platforms like Instagram and Twitter. 

The current show is an introductory exhibition, and a physical manifestation of the curation, which will also be shown on social media and art platforms. It will be followed by a 2nd edition curated exclusively on their Artsy profile.

 These two pieces are a continuation of my Artist’s Statement series that consists of different editioned prints, online digital images and publication specific editorial commentary.
